FIAT FREAKOUT 2025 SPOTLIGHT
Thursday Welcome Dinner
Some early birds to Freakout come really early and roll in Monday evening. Other early birds arrive Tuesday. Many more arrive Wednesday and by Thursday, the majority of Freakateers have arrived.
So every Freakout has their Welcome Dinner Thursday evening. The Welcome Dinner is a way for Fiat Club America to formally welcome everyone to the Freakout. It's a great opportunity to see who all is at the convention of Fiats and renew friendships with fellow owners from other chapters you may not get to see very often during the rest of the year.
One important change we made last year and continue forward this year is the cost of the Welcome Dinner is not included in the base ticket price for FFO. John Montgomery instituted the change last year because people whgo didn't arrive til late thursday, Friday or Saturday had to pay for a dinner they could not attend.
By making the Welcomer Dinner a la carte, only those people who can attend the dinner have to pay for it.
Expect all the normal festivites plus a little extra this year. The event is in a hotel banquet hall with a Wisconsin tailgate party theme. Afterwards, everyone is invited to hit the waterpark for an outdoor beach party!
With everyone together at the hotel for the dinner, the late evening parking lot camaraderie should also be in full swing. Once you towel off, meander over to the parking lot for even more friendship and fun.
